Seattle Public Utilities F.O.G. Program
Summary
As a sub-consultant to Griffin, Hill & Associates, GWFA assisted SPU FOG program manager with strategizing about messaging, preparation of a graphic display, and setting up for a trade show event where the agency could conduct outreach to targeted businesses.
Fats, oils, and grease (F.O.G.) resulting from food preparation can build up in sewer pipes and cause costly blockages and backups and sewage overflows to private and public property. The purpose of the outreach was to inform/educate restaurant businesses about the sources of, and solutions to, F.O.G. buildup.
